10-30-15

Winter is out of town or so he said.  Sure, hope he didn't slip back into his old ways and gone on a slavetrading expedition. I was going to hang out at home but a lion wandered in and fell asleep.  Do you know the joke, "Where does a lion sleep?  Anywhere, he wants to!"  It is totally true.  I left the house to the lion.  Maybe when I got back, he will have wandered off.  One can hope.

What to do? what to do?

Winter had given me a witch's dress.  I remembered a long time ago I had found a broom on a scavenger hunt that someone said was magic.  Hmmm, maybe I should try it out.  After all, I had actually seen a real life gargoyle and dragon just last night.  Babies to be sure but still!  That means there is magic in the world.

I dug through the inventory in the shack where I push everything I can't find space for in the house (which means like everything!) and found the broom.  Dressed in my new outfit, I sat on it   --- oh my gosh!!!! It started to rise!  It works.  So I decided to fly to Winter's castle to see if he was really out of town or doing the ..... with somebody else.

Well, he wasn't home.  It was the perfect night for a monlit flight on a magical broom.  I think the broom liked flying too after being in storage for so long.  It threw off glittering glowing sparkles as we flew.  This is so amazing!

As I floated above Winter's castle, I noticed his gargoyle.  It definitely looked like stone as it sat there glaring over the land but I couldn't help wondering if it was related to the baby gargoyle.  I mean how many gargoyles can there be in this world?

I flew until it got really late and went back home.  Luckily the lion was gone so I went to bed.  I thought about telling Winter about my doings tonight but figured he wouldn't believe me anyways.  I miss him when he's out of town but this weekend I had some amazing adventures.  Life is good.

Winter bought me a new dress for Halloween!  It's a little short in the front but I love the way it swishes behind me with it's cool feathery train. He felt like the dress had a steampunk quality to it and it reminded him of a museum so he showed me the museum.  It was pretty cool but echoingly empty.  We had the place to ourselves.  (I was grateful for that because the dress was one I preferred Winter was the only one to see me wear)

Then he took me dancing and twirled me round and round.  It was really an awesome night!  I felt like Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge.  He is such a great dancer!

Tonight was a girl's night out.  I hung out with Jhanelle.  She is my bestie bestie friend!

Jhanelle is on the left and I'm on the right.  She is telling me a secret. Hah! you thought I was going to tell you.  Nope! I'm a good friend, the soul of discretion!
I do love a juicy secret though.

Jhanelle thought it would be a great idea to do a photoshoot at a local graveyard.  I thought why not?

Then Jhanelle thought she heard something in the graveyard.  So we went to check it out.  Since she had mentioned earlier that the graveyard might be haunted, I borrowed gear from a ghosthunter friend of mine.  It does look a bit like a vacuum cleaner but he said it sucks up ghosts.  I felt a lot safer with it strapped on my back.
Jhanelle spotted a skeleton.  Looked like he drank too much and fell asleep and never got back up!

Wow! A friendly baby gargoyle nestled in my hair.  Isn't he the cutest?  I think it's a he.  How can you tell with gargoyles?

Did he just pee?  I think he peed on my shoulder!

Then he flew off and a baby dragon came to check me out.  I guess he was wondering why his buddy was using my shoulder as a perch.  I wonder if this is a pet cemetary.  I've never seen a gargoyle or dragon before.  I'm afraid to move because I don't want to scare him off.  Unless he pees, then all bets are off!

Then he flew off too.  I had a hankie in my pocket so I used it to clean off my shoulder.  Then I hid the hankie behind a tombstone.  The skeleton never made a comment. Just sat there, quietly drunk out of his skull.  I'm beginning to feel like I might fit in here.

There were some woods on the other side of the graveyard.  Jhanelle thought she something flit through there.  I was feeling bold so off we went to try and find it.  In retrospect, probably not the smartest thing to do.

I feel like I'm ready for anything!  Maybe I'll be able to vacuum up a ghost!

Okay.... I think we found our ghost!

Jhanelle is yelling, "Don't go out there, Kayla!"  But I really wanted to try out the ghost busting thingy.

She flew right past me!

Darn it! This ghost busting thing is not as easy as they make it look in the movies!  Jhanelle said this was too scary since there really was a ghost and we should head back to town.  I agreed we should head back.  This has been one adventurous night!

Winter and I were strolling along when a street photographer offered to take our picture.  Of course, we couldn't resist.

Winter is hilarious.  He started making funny faces at the photographer because it was taking so long.

The way he was goofing off, it was going to be a long session, lol

Later that night, he got all moody - - like Edgar Allen Poe moody.  What can I say, he is a man of many faces and facets.  One thing for sure, he's not boring.

Then Shadoze showed up.  Shadoze is a friend of Winter's and manages his club too.

Shadoze is an interesting character and seemed almost psychic.  A few times when I was just about to say something, he said it first.  Really amazing!  He mellowed Winter out so that Winter's dark mood passed swiftly into the Parisian night.  Good friends can do that.

10-21-15

I started making a haunted house in the apartment using stuff from the Arcade.  It looked scarey!  What do you think?

There is something deeply disturbing about a ouija board that moves when no one is touching it.

Gilly got fascinated by the moving planchette and joined me.

Then he swatted the planchette right off the ouija board!  I had to explain to Gilly it was not a toy for him. He didn't buy it.  Of course, a moving object was to be batted around.  It was only logical from his point of view.  He is so adorable.  I couldn't stay mad at him.

10-20-15

Winter wanted to go exploring so off we went.  Sometimes I feel like Huckleberry Finn.  I love it! Although I do admit sometimes it does get a little spooky in the dark. But it was sooo worth it! We found an amazing temple! The best part was after we docked the boat and relaxed by the campfire. Just a great night!

10-16-15

Just hanging out all night long until the sun comes up

10-14-15 Wednesday
Winter said, "Let's go." and I replied, "Okay."  We flew off to Space Park.  It's a lovely lovely place.
